1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to purchases made through the online shop operated by Justindeed Design Co. (“Justindeed,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a sole proprietorship registered in British Columbia, Canada.
By using our online shop or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and any other terms presented to you at checkout.
These Terms apply to physical products sold through our online shop, including art prints, greeting cards, and other small goods.
Design services, commissioned work, and original artwork offered separately through the Justindeed website are not governed by these Terms unless expressly stated otherwise. Those services or purchases may be subject to separate agreements.
2. Products and availability
We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe and display the products offered through our shop.
Because artwork and printed products are represented digitally, colours and other visual details may vary slightly between your screen and the physical product. Minor variations of this kind are not considered defects.
All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities or discontinue a product at any time.
3. Prices, currency, and taxes
All prices in the shop are stated in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless expressly indicated otherwise.
Applicable taxes are calculated and displayed during checkout. Any applicable shipping charges are also presented before you complete your purchase.
The total amount payable for your order will be shown at checkout before you submit the order.
If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of a typographical, technical, or other genuine error, we may correct the error or cancel the affected order. If payment has already been collected for an order that we cancel, we will refund the amount paid.
4. Orders and payment
By submitting an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Payment is processed through the payment methods made available at checkout.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order before shipment for legitimate reasons, including:
- an item becoming unavailable;
- an obvious pricing or product-listing error;
- an inability to complete or verify payment;
- suspected fraudulent or unauthorized activity; or
- an order that cannot be shipped to the provided address.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue a refund for the cancelled amount.
5. Shipping and delivery
At this time, our online shop ships within Canada only.
Shipping methods, charges, delivery destination, and applicable processing or delivery information are provided through the shop, at checkout, in your order confirmation, or a combination of these.
Please review our Shipping Policy for additional information regarding order processing, carriers, delivery, delays, and other shipping matters.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If you notice an error in your shipping information, contact us as soon as possible at hello@justindeed.ca.
Delivery times may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, severe weather, labour disruptions, and other transportation interruptions. Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation, refund, or other rights you may have under applicable law where goods are not supplied within the required time.
6. Returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds
Our return, exchange, cancellation, and refund terms are set out in our Refund Policy.
Please review that policy before placing an order.
Nothing in these Terms or our Refund Policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection legislation.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and our Refund Policy concerning a return or refund, the Refund Policy will apply to that issue, subject to applicable law.
7. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us promptly at hello@justindeed.ca and provide your order information and, where useful, photographs showing the problem.
We will address damaged, defective, or incorrect orders in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable law.
8. Intellectual property and artwork
Unless otherwise stated, all artwork, illustrations, photographs, designs, graphics, logos, written content, and other original material displayed through the Justindeed website and online shop are owned by Justindeed Design Co. or used with authorization.
Purchasing a print, greeting card, original physical item, or other product gives you ownership of that physical item only. It does not transfer copyright or any other intellectual-property rights in the underlying artwork or design.
Except as permitted by law or with our prior written permission, you may not reproduce, copy, scan, publish, distribute, modify, create commercial reproductions from, or otherwise commercially exploit our artwork or other protected content.
You may, of course, display, give away, or lawfully resell a physical product that you have purchased.
9. Permitted use of the website
You may use our website and online shop for lawful personal and commercial purchasing purposes.
You may not intentionally interfere with the operation or security of the website, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, use the website for fraudulent purposes, or use automated means to extract substantial portions of our protected content without permission.
10. Third-party services
Some portions of our online shop, including ecommerce, checkout, payment processing, and related functionality, may be provided by third-party service providers such as Shopify and payment processors.
Your use of those providers' services may also be subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
The use of a third-party service provider does not remove our obligations to you as the seller of products purchased from Justindeed.
11. Privacy
Our collection, use, and handling of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.
Information may also be processed by service providers that support our shop, payment processing, order fulfilment, and other business operations, as described in that policy.
12. Liability and statutory rights
We are responsible for our products and obligations to customers to the extent required by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Justindeed Design Co. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising solely from the use or inability to use the website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a guarantee, warranty, condition, remedy, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable consumer-protection or other legislation.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our shop, business practices, or legal requirements.
The version published when you place an order will apply to that order. Changes to these Terms will not retroactively alter the terms of an order already placed except where agreed with you or permitted or required by law.
The date of the most recent update appears at the top of this page.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection legislation or other laws that apply to you.
